Wifi and internet are available through satellite, free to scientists. You need to provide the MAC Address (format: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx ) if you want to used your own computer (or smart phone), ahead of the visit. The application form is in Chinese. Or, you could use the computer of DARS for internet access. All the transmission are supposed to be monitored on the island. Avoid downloading large files, since the whole station shares one line.
